Quite simply a beautiful live edge mesquite hall table. This striking top is mounted on a network of detail in the naturally weathered ancient cedar trunk and root system. With the softer wood which has eroded over decades has left the harder wood to create a beautiful deep channeled surface that is not only beautiful and unique but shows how the tree can guide water down to its root tips. I have named it the “coconut octopus due to its magnificent root formation and subtle changes in the colors of the top from the dark browns of its central heart wood to the lighter yellows on its external barked edges.
