A stunning 5″ thick side/hall table named “Cove“. A truly unique and exceptional “fused” piece of aged mesquite that presents beautiful natural geographical features that provided great inspiration for this piece. The two trunk islands are connected by its own natural bridge and the detailed topographical undulations provided have been highlighted with a blue pearlescent epoxy to produce a magnificent sea cove with two small sea caves in ther headland and small surface lakes on the opposite side of this magnificent piece. Looking down on this piece you can almost imagine yourself two thousand feet above a similar land form somewhere on earth and what an educational and conversation piece this is. The surface colors and grain are exquisite along with the detailed bore holes and some bark displayed on its live edges. Finished with clear epoxy edges and multiple coats of semi gloss polyurethane varnish on its surfaces. Mounted on 4″ x 4″ cedar legs finished in a black semi gloss paint.
